一周前刚经历分手的苏念，意外翻出鸟类摄影师父亲的观鸟日记，为完成父亲追寻 “能带来幸福的彩虹鸟” 的遗愿，她只身前往香格里拉，同时没放下短视频博主的工作，一路直播高原美景。独自进森林寻鸟的她，被鸟类监测员农布当成生态破坏者按倒，误会解除后，苏念便跟着农布来到城区。直播间粉丝嗑起二人 CP，还打赏怂恿她 “攻略康巴汉子”，好胜的苏念精心打扮赴约，却撞见农布带了一众好友。她借口支走众人，又拉着农布去喝酒，不料当地酒水劲太足，苏念醉酒，最后被农布背着回了民宿。而故事开篇，是二人后续遇偷猎者，农布为护苏念坠落消失的惊险场面。
