Taking place over the course of three weeks, La amiga de mi amiga follows Zaida through a series of fast-paced romantic highs and lows, all while she's trying to finish her script. After meeting Lara – her girlfriend’s new girlfriend – at a party and immediately falling for her, they keep bumping into each other at the cinema; their story reflects the three Eric Rohmer films (A Good Marriage, The Green Ray, and My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend) they watch over the course of the film. 　　In this witty, frankly cinephile comedy, queer spaces are at the forefront as you follow Zaida on her nights out at bars, parties and art shows with her tight-knit community of lesbians.
