根据同名连环画改编。葵葵在割草时，发现山坳里有一只受伤的山羊。他没有寻到失主，就把羊牵了回家。他一心想要把羊交还到失主手中。就写了一张启示贴在路边的大树上，还是没有人来认领。一阵大风刮走了启示。葵葵又重新写了启示，贴在妈妈开的拖拉机上。继之，葵葵听见山羊惨叫声，他以为羊生病了，赶忙请来医生给羊治病，急着回到家中，那只母山羊在外婆的看护下，已产下两只小羊羔。这时，妈妈驾驶着拖拉机回来了，拖拉机上还载着一位老大爷，老大爷指着拖拉机上贴的启示，又看到丢失的那只山羊和刚产下的两只小羊，连声夸奖葵葵。

一次偶然中，葵葵捡到了一只受伤的山羊，善良的葵葵把山羊带回了家，并且治好了它的伤势。为了寻找山羊的主人，葵葵写了一封认领启事，哪知道启事贴出去没几天就被大风刮走了，于是，葵葵又写了一张，这次，他把启事贴在了妈妈的拖拉机上。 　　一天，葵葵听到了山羊的惨叫声，他以为山羊生病了，急急忙忙赶到山羊身边，葵葵这才发现，原来山羊并没有生病，而是生下了两只小羊羔。与此同时，妈妈开着拖拉机回到了家，拖拉机上载着一位慈眉善目的老爷爷，他就是山羊的主人。最终，山羊带着小羊顺利的回到了主人的身边，葵葵也因此得到了表扬。
