Elaine is a young woman who lives in a skyscraper in a megacity. Suffering from depression and anxiety, she hasn't gone out of her room for months. One day, the thundering sound of water falling outside her window wakes her up. Outside her window is a window cleaner with soap in his eye. He needs a tissue to wipe his eye, and Elaine is the only person who can help. But that would require her to open the window and reach out. With a full anxiety flare-up, Elaine retreats behind curtains to shut him out and keep herself "safe." She tries ignoring him, but he doesn't go away. Eventually, she decides to gather up little courage to open the window. She hands the window cleaner a tissue and relieves him from pain. But it's not the window cleaner's gratitude that surprises Elaine. She realizes she opened the window by herself. It's spring outside, and things are alive and moving. The breeze wakes her up from a long slumber. She smiles for the first time because she sees the window is clear like her mind. She can finally rip the old pages from her calendar and catch up on the life she had been missing.
