张宇本想给儿子找个后妈照顾起居，却不曾想引狼入室，被自己多年的朋友兼秘书伙同黄莲背叛自己，并多次虐待自己的亲生儿子张辰，在即将发现真相之际，却黄莲因为身怀有孕，并被告知是产前抑郁而暂时放弃离婚，但他从未放弃追查真相，终于在黄莲两人想夺取公章杀害儿子的时候揭开所有谜团，但此时的张辰已经被撞破脑袋危在旦夕，张宇一怒之下将两人送进监狱，所幸最后儿子有惊无险。

《長期照顧》算是我個人的紀錄式動畫。我把我所遇到的困難和其他感受一一畫下來，做成動畫。雖然影片僅短短七分多鐘，卻是我用十年去做、去學習、去感受的作品。

陆琛与夏花迎来女儿，陆母林清玄执意辞退月嫂，找来远房邻居刘燕。刘燕以粗蛮的“经验”照顾产妇，致夏花患病并偷食补品，不断挑拨离间，终使产后抑郁的夏花携女回娘家。 刘燕随后利用陆母善心住进其家。在破坏行为遭警告后，她竟对陆母下药致其中风，随后将其囚禁，并冒用身份向陆琛勒索钱财。 陆琛起初被蒙蔽，直至见刘燕母女在老家炫富，方生疑窦。他突击回家，救出奄奄一息的母亲。收集证据后，陆琛在刘燕“荣归故里”的宴会上当众揭穿其下药、囚禁、勒索的罪行。警方现场将其逮捕，刘燕最终数罪并罚，被判无期徒刑。 一家人在磨难后团聚，陆母反省“滥好心”，全家从此以科学与尊重为基石，共同守护新生活。
