George Washington McLintock, "GW" to friends and foes alike, is a cattle baron and the richest man in the territory. He anxiously awaits the return of his daughter Becky who has been away at school for the last two years. He's also surprised to see that his wife Katherine has also returned. She had left him some years before without really explaining what he done but she does make the point of saying that she's returned to take their daughter back to the State Capitol with her. GW is highly respected by everyone around him including the farmers who are pouring into the territories with free grants of land and the Indians who are under threat of being relocated to another reservation. Between his wife, his headstrong daughter, the crooked land agent and the thieving government Indian agent, GW tries to keep the peace and do what is best for everyone.

This is one of these daft sex comedies that could only have been made in Italy, and only in the 1970s. Often, the moments and plot twists are just completely ridiculous and at other times the film expects us to take it seriously. However, there are a few classic scenes of 1970s exploitation cinema in here which are just priceless. One of them lets us ogle at the nude Ursula Andress having a bath in her hotel room when she is rudely interrupted by the local Mafia clown (played by the unbearable Jimmy il fenomeno) with gun in hand and trousers down. Undeterred, Ursula smashes a radio on his head to calm him down. They don't film scenes like this anymore.

李威七年前和手下抢劫金行，事败被捕，复因枪伤警探罪名，被判监七年。此丑事令李的家人备受拖累，其父郁郁而终，妹阿芬误入岐途，弟阿俊则飘然远去，过其海员生涯。七年后，李威出狱，痛改前非，以驾驶的士为业，可惜其弟李俊并未原谅其过失。李威偶然碰到旧街坊阿May已成为警队中的女干探。李威虽决心洗手不干，奈何其旧日手下仍然有求于他。此事令李威大为烦恼。李威后因分赃之事跟昔日手下载伟有猛烈冲突。七年前被李威枪伤之警探泰国基亦一直怀恨在心，亟欲报一箭之仇。与此同时，李威与女探员阿May感情日增。阿May终于发现李威是已经改邪归正之悍匪。二人发生争执。阿May对李威一往情深，并坚信李威不会重蹈覆辙。李威后来遭泰国基和载伟设计陷害，其弟李俊任职之船公司被众匪打劫，李俊亦惨遭杀害。李威在阿May及众警探监视和保护之下，幸免于难，而恶人终有恶报，泰国基和载伟都死于特警乱枪之下。
