NY84 follows the adventures of three young artists in the downtown art scene in the early 1980's. We gain an intimate glimpse into the creative and emotional life of Kate, Anton, and Keith. Young and carefree, the friends party, photograph, paint, sing, and play their way through the clubs and lofts of Alphabet City. The party ends in 1984 when Anton and Keith contract a mysterious illness known as the "gay cancer." As her music career takes off, Kate tries to save her friends. With the cameras still rolling, we meet the parents, patrons, and patients that struggle against the epidemic.

As my interest in the subject deepened through the filming, the original and clear-cut image I had about faith became completely overturned. Perhaps it is only God who is fully equipped and all people have shortcomings and weaknesses, and so the preachers, in the same way, have to face a complex social reality and the pressures to survive. Consequently, the characters of the group come through as more real and dynamic, and not so far-flung from us.

He was the two-term Prime Minister of Sweden. Palme was steadfast in his non-alignment policy towards the superpowers, frequently criticized US and Soviet foreign policy, and supported numerous third world liberation movements. The major reforms in the Sweden carried out by Olof Palme promoted the process of democratization, boosted economic growth and built complete social welfare system. 　　In 1986, Palme was assassinated on the street on the street of Stockholm, and the identity of the killer is still unknown. Though Palme was a controversial figure during his career, he is memorized by the people around the world. 　　This film about his life and times, and about the Sweden he helped to create.
