George Washington McLintock, "GW" to friends and foes alike, is a cattle baron and the richest man in the territory. He anxiously awaits the return of his daughter Becky who has been away at school for the last two years. He's also surprised to see that his wife Katherine has also returned. She had left him some years before without really explaining what he done but she does make the point of saying that she's returned to take their daughter back to the State Capitol with her. GW is highly respected by everyone around him including the farmers who are pouring into the territories with free grants of land and the Indians who are under threat of being relocated to another reservation. Between his wife, his headstrong daughter, the crooked land agent and the thieving government Indian agent, GW tries to keep the peace and do what is best for everyone.

This is one of these daft sex comedies that could only have been made in Italy, and only in the 1970s. Often, the moments and plot twists are just completely ridiculous and at other times the film expects us to take it seriously. However, there are a few classic scenes of 1970s exploitation cinema in here which are just priceless. One of them lets us ogle at the nude Ursula Andress having a bath in her hotel room when she is rudely interrupted by the local Mafia clown (played by the unbearable Jimmy il fenomeno) with gun in hand and trousers down. Undeterred, Ursula smashes a radio on his head to calm him down. They don't film scenes like this anymore.

苏文健(郑伊健饰)是“G4特工”保护要员组的核心人物，身手不凡，智勇双全，但一向过于自信，目空一切。健的女友Brenda(林嘉欣饰)与他一起任G4特工，二人相识多年。国际钻石展览会开幕前一天，健奉命带队保护持有名贵巨钻的南非大使，健非常出色的完成了任务。但当他夜深护送大使回房休息时却碰上了一个素不相识的“朋友”(黎明饰)，在与“朋友”的谈话过程中健像中了诅咒一般不自觉的让“朋友”进到房间内……，当他醒来时却发现自己已被警方的飞虎队重重包围，而宝钻也不翼而飞，南非大使更是因心脏病发作奄奄一息。整件事情健很莫名其妙但又无法自辩，倒成为了嫌疑罪被拘留。为了证明自己的清白和寻找真相，他毅然逃出了拘留所，变成了亡命之徒，但Brenda对健深信不疑，向他伸出援助之手。在Brenda的协助下，健终于查处了“朋友”的真相及其苦衷——原是警方心理组的催眠专家，有一名在北京大学任讲师的女友卓敏(徐静蕾饰)，“朋友” 己向警察部辞职，计划搬到北京与敏在一起，但他正参与一犯罪集团的侦破案中，深处陷境……

自负能干的“保护要员组”警员李文健（郑伊健 饰）因性格问题与女友Brenda（林嘉欣 饰）的感情亮起红灯。因为一起棘手案件，他与正在监狱服役的原警方心理组的催眠师黎尚正（黎明 饰）打上交道。尽管知晓黎尚正厉害的李文健表现得异常谨慎，却仍被黎尚正神不知鬼不觉的催眠，助其盗 走了要保护的南非宝钻。 　　在寻回宝钻的过程中，李文健发现黎尚正盗钻实属无奈，他其实是一个正直、善良、忍辱负重的真男儿，决意协助他来共同对抗拿其妻子（徐静蕾 饰）和好友一双儿女的性命进行威胁的黑帮大枭欧阳锐（吴镇宇 饰），并在此过程中回归了与Brenda的感情。

武功高强的红玫瑰和黑蝴蝶成为了商业巨头的保镖，在真假总经理涌现的时候，适时解救出了被坏人绑架的董事长，也促成了几段好姻缘。
