De fabuleux voyages qu'il effectua de Belle-Île-en-Mer à Ajaccio, de Tanger à l’Espagne, des atolls polynésiens à Nice et son arrière-pays, où il vivra jusqu’à sa mort en 1954. 　　En mars 1930, à 60 ans, Matisse embarque au Havre, seul et sans billet de retour, pour une longue traversée qui va le mener, via New York et San Francisco, jusqu’à Tahiti. Passé par l’École des beaux-arts à Paris, celui qui sera considéré dans sa jeunesse comme le chef de file du fauvisme a grandi sous le ciel bas du Cateau-Cambrésis, dans le Nord, où il a vu le jour en 1869. Insatiable de lumière et de couleurs, le peintre n'a eu de cesse d'effectuer tout au long de sa vie de nombreux voyages qui l’ont mené, après sa découverte de Belle-Île-en-Mer, toujours plus au sud, d’Ajaccio à Collioure, de Tanger à l’Espagne – Grenade et Cordoue –, des atolls polynésiens à Nice et son arrière-pays, où il vivra jusqu’à sa mort en 1954. Des horizons lointains ensoleillés qui lui ont permis de faire profondément évoluer son travail vers toujours plus de clarté et d’épure ainsi qu’en témoigne l’un de ses ultimes chefs-d’œuvre, les vitraux de la chapelle du Rosaire de Vence. 　　Au cœur de la création 　　"Une ère nouvelle s’ouvre, écrit Matisse au soir de son existence. J’ai compris que tout le labeur acharné de ma vie était pour la grande famille humaine, à laquelle devait être révélée un peu de la fraîche beauté du monde par mon intermédiaire." 画面中，站着一条明显衰老的黄狗，它形容憔悴，似乎随时都会跌倒。伴随着欢快的音乐，黄狗的小主人——眼睛大大的小女孩来到它的身边。女孩喜欢和爱犬做游戏，就如往常玩的那样，用力将手中的皮球跑出去，狗狗则飞奔过去取回。可是，这一次黄狗无论如何奔跑也追不上皮球，它气喘吁吁，最终倒地不起，合上了眼睛。女孩跑了过来，她以为狗狗在开玩笑装死，她以为狗狗肚子太饿，无论怎样努力，爱犬永远闭上了眼睛，不再醒来…… 　　本片为谢尔丹学院（Sheridan College）学生Lily Sun 的毕业作品，并荣获2010年多伦多国际电影节的学生电影奖之最佳动画片奖。

There was a slew of commemorative films, which sometimes sacrificed formal virtues for an emphasis on ideological interpretations and objectives: Jorge Fraga's 1968 La odisea del General José (The Odyssey of General José), José Massip's 1971 Páginas del diario de José Martí (Pages from the Diary of José Martí) and 1986's Baraguá, Pineda Barnet's Mella (1975) and Aquella larga noche (That Long Night) from 1979, and more. Some suffered from concepts divorced from their plots, suggesting that great themes do not always make for great films, or can promise depth while not penetrating beneath the surface. There were also films about the colonial past, of a type which popular wit dubbed negrometrajes (black subjects), of which the most outstanding were 1974's El otro Francisco (The Other Francisco), Rancheador (1976), Maluala (1979) and Plácido (1986) by Sergio Giral. This director's work, dedicated to the study of the African roots of the Cuban nationality from slavery days to those Africans' mulatto descendants, was interrupted after María Antonia by his 1990 emigration to the United States. 　　One of the most valuable parts of the Festival will be the tributes that, this year, will be dedicated to the professor, ideologist and filmmaker José Massip and to the distinguished producer Tomas Piard, who historically have been linked to the Plaza Cinema, assured Morales. 　　Cinema 23 y 12 is the chosen place for the ceremony that will be held the 4 of October with a photographic exhibition, allegorical to Massip and the projection of his movie Páginas del diario de José Martí (Pages of the Diary of Jose Marti), the 5 of October will be recognized Piard and will be showed his movie Espectros.
