高知県内の各所の人々、風景、出来事などをカメラに収めた、記録映画風アート・フィルム。監督は「エクスタシーの涙／恥淫」の大木裕之。95年２月に開催された展覧会“クールの時代／美術のノイズ・ミュージック”展への出品作品として、高知県立美術館が企画・製作を行い、大木監督に制作を依頼した異色作である。作品は一見脈絡のない画の数々を、脈絡なく１パート10分の６つのパートに分けて構成している単なるイメージ映像のように見えるが、全体からは全てが大木監督を中心に緊密に結ばれていることが分かってくる。95年作品。96年ベルリン国際映画祭フォーラム部門ネットパック賞受賞のほか、各国の映画祭から招待を受けている。 　　「ＨＥＡＶＥＮ−６−ＢＯＸ 天国の６つの箱」は１９９４年の９月・１０月・１１月 の３ヵ月に渡り、高知県内各所での出来事や人々の表情、風景のうつろいを追い求め、 そしてカメラに収めた作品である。この３ヵ月の時間は６つの”箱”に分けられており、 それぞれの”箱”が独立した内容で構成されている。大木裕之にとって特別の場所であるＪＲ旭駅前広場に佇み、瞑想する橋本大二郎。破壊パフォーマンスを繰り広げる老芸術家や、あてどもなく街を彷徨する青年。そして刻々と表情を変える陽のひかり。 全編に流れるテクノ・ハウスとアンビエント・ノイズ。スナップのように映しだされる映像と時間軸が見事に交錯し、色彩、空気、感性がノイジーに光り輝くこの作品は、大木裕之が観るものに放射するヒーリング・ムービーとも言える魅力を持ちえている。
