一位对于“白玉杯”有特殊情结的女博物馆讲解员，在压抑与焦虑下逐渐衍生出第二人格， 对白玉杯实施盗窃，走上一条犯罪与自我背叛的道路。影片以挖掘人内心的自厌情结为主旨，完成对于亲密关系的悲观表达。影片灵感来源于刘柯依小说《白玉杯》。

该剧改编自晋江文学城团子来袭的小说《逐玉》。讲述了屠户女樊长玉（田曦薇 饰）与落难侯爷谢征（张凌赫 饰）于困境中相遇，一个父母双亡为了保住家产，一个死里逃生隐姓埋名，二人一拍即合决定成婚。先婚后爱日渐生情，后因战乱被迫分开，樊长玉最终拿着杀猪刀上战场，谢征实是战功赫赫的铁血将军，两人于战场重逢，携手共筑拨云见日求真相。
