The duo moved to the unfamiliar island of Jeju and completed their third album, Comedy. The simple yet powerful story of the folk duo Yeoyu and Seolbin—who sing about ‘being alive’ amidst life’s tragedies—unfolds in an old house, yard, the Chinese restaurant that was also his workplace, and a recording studio in Jeju. As live and raw as possible.

This film traces the history of human-chicken interactions and focuses on the present state of chickens and other marginalised beings. It is a story of ultimate failure for those who fight against the system of ecological annihilation, but also about overcoming pessimism, standing in solidarity, and doing what we can.
