纪录片以刁亦男和胡歌为主视角，讲述电影《南方车站的聚会》从缘起、筹备到杀青、上映，在近2年的时间里，演员与制作团队从陌生到熟悉，逐步建立起信任、默契，共渡难关的过程。全组成员在漫长的150多个黑夜里，经历着种种争辩、妥协、坚持与转变，是一场独立电影人向着工业化制作水准的黑夜探险。

Ale, a seventeen-year-old woman, lives in rural Costa Rica with her two younger siblings. Through landscapes fueled by silence, resentment and brief moments of joy, Ale will try to protect them from the seething truth, their mother has left them and is not coming back.

云城首富之女陆知梦，曾隐瞒身份下嫁外卖员林彦。怀孕大出血时，父亲陆寒山为拆散二人，以救命要挟林彦离开，更伪造孩子夭折、林彦负心的假象。陆知梦心灰意冷回归家族。 五年后，林彦独自抚养女儿小宝，却因车祸后遗症患上脑癌。生命垂危之际，他让小宝持玉佩寻母。陆知梦误认小宝是骗子，冷漠拒绝。后林彦遭兄嫂逼迫，病情恶化，小宝哭着找妈妈。陆知梦偶然发现玉佩成对，惊觉小宝是亲女，赶去时林彦已气息奄奄，最终遗憾离世，只留母女二人悲痛欲绝。

这是一个夜晚失去了“光”的乌托邦城市，而一小部分的人一夜之间变成了夜光人——他们成为了城市夜晚唯一的光源。主角作为“夜光人”的一员，开始履行为陌生人进行夜间照明的职能。这个的新身份迫使她不得不在黑暗中进行探索，寻找自我的价值和意义。而当夜光人开始被抓捕时，她必须在隐藏自己的同时拯救同类。这是一场孤独的奇幻冒险，而她将独自走向这段黑暗路程的终点。

Salvador Dalí considered Luminous Procuress ‘a work of genius’. Featuring members of legendary San Francisco performance troupe The Cockettes, the film was directed by the artist and filmmaker Steven Arnold, a muse and model of Dalí's. Dalí always referred to Arnold as his 'prince', and allegedly co-produced (or at least partly funded) the film, for which he held an elaborate screening at the St. Regis Hotel in New York. Andy Warhol and numerous luminaries of New York society attended the spectacular event, and Dalí projected the film upside down, backwards and sideways. The Village Voice called the film ‘a tour de force of the imagination – a journey through peekboxes of naked tableaux, theatres of mechanical dreams, feasts of monsters and piles of humanity.’

But one day, he and the rest of his crew do not return. Some say it was an accident; others say he had been reckless. Lena is sure it could not have been his fault. They must have encountered a gigantic sea creature, causing the boat to capsize. The signs are everywhere: from a shadow in the water, to a large tooth stuck in a piece of driftwood. If only she could find that one, decisive piece of evidence, she could stand up to her family and friends and prove them all wrong.
