Zinzan is a short film about a rugby-mad kiwi father who fears for his son's recruitment into the national Under 20s national team when he insists on bringing his boyfriend to practice. 　　Mr Lewis is stoically proud of his son, Liam, who is on the cusp of launching into a rugby career. Yet he’s concerned for his son’s recruitment into the national Under 20’s team because of his perceptions of how others (the team, the fans, and others in the rugby world) will handle Liam’s homosexuality. 　　Mr Lewis has made peace with his son’s sexuality and has gone as far as accepting boyfriend Michael into their lives.
