本剧改编自同名漫画。在无声咖啡馆“朝颜”工作的神秘主角不思议麻衣，因某个契机，和性格亲和的年下男同事上下亮开启了“相互观察”的关系。随着一同工作的时间增长，麻衣渐渐被亮吸引。不过，因为初恋留下的心理阴影，这段感情进展并不顺利。

在无声咖啡店工作的不思议麻衣，与咖啡店的同事、与人距离感较近的上下亮以某一天为契机，开始了互相观察的关系。麻衣在一起工作的时候很在意亮，但是因为对初恋有创伤，认为恋爱很复杂，所以不能跨出那一步。另一方面，亮也在意麻衣，外在冷静的背后对麻衣的感情溢出了。到底这两人能打开彼此的心门吗？
