【故事梗概】 　　师范学院女学生娜塔莎认识了建筑工程师谢辽沙，两人—见钟情。娜塔莎抛弃学业嫁给了他，并生了个儿子。谢辽沙很有工作能力，但过分自信，刚愎自用。他虽然爱妻子，但并不尊重她。当谢辽沙升为总工程师后，更是唯我独尊，一批拍马屁的人整天围着他转，更助长了他自高自大、独断专行的作风。娜塔莎对丈夫的—切行为很看不惯，她多次规劝丈夫，反而引起丈夫的反感。娜塔莎便痛下决心带着儿子出走。她在旧日同窗好友的帮助下，终于完成... 　　幕后花絮 　　这部影片是50年代中期苏联代表作品之一。通过一对夫妻之间关系与情感的变化，创作者触及了苏联电影过去很少涉及的有关人的尊严、人的信任、人的生活目的等方面的内容。这部影片和其它许多影片一样开始表现普通人的生活和工作，表现他们的喜怒哀乐，开始涉及道德范畴，开始探索人物的内心世界，特别是对女性的细致丰富的内心生活和精神世界进行了大胆的剖析。当然这些影片与后来道德题材作品相比，还不够深入。
