Professionals within Chinese domestic industry have been interviewed in this documentary, such as the musician Shen Lihui, music scholar Zhang Youdai, DJ DIO, Weng Weng, Mikey_Zhang, ELVIS_T, Sun Dawei, pet conspiracy and etc. It has recorded the development and status of electronic music ever since the reform and opening-up in 1980s. It is the first documentary focusing on electronic music in China.

“与音乐”用影像纪录独立音乐，为小众的好声音发声。 　　这是一部纪录中国优秀原创独立音乐人的微纪录片系列。 　　在中国，独立音乐显露在大众视野里的只是巨大冰山的一角，其实还有更多的人和他们的好音乐尚未被人发掘，他们一直用匠人之心做音乐，然后把这些微小的感动传达给我们。也有很多音乐人，你听过他的歌曲，却不了解他的故事。我们用独特视角聚焦他们的故事，为大众展示他们不为人知的历程。

Amis inséparables, Jeremy et Michel nourrissent une même passion pour la musique, dans laquelle ils espèrent faire carrière. Un jour, le chemin des deux auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes croise celui de Margaux, imprésario à la recherche de jeunes talents. N'ayant rien à perdre, ou si peu - leur emploi de serveur - ils acceptent de faire partie d'un concert organisée par celle-ci. Mais Jeremy est tombé sous le charme de Margaux, dont le mari Peter, écrivain, est retourné aux Etats-Unis en lui laissant leurs deux enfants, Charlotte et Elliott.
