Unsupervised is an animated, half-hour comedy about two eternally optimistic best friends "Gary" and "Joel," who are navigating the harsh landscape of adolescence and trying to do what's right despite having no parental guidance whatsoever. Gary's father took off years ago and left him with his absentee stepmom, while Joel's elderly parents remain unseen and uninvolved. And the adults that are actually present in Gary and Joel's lives are anything but role models. At first glance, Gary and Joel's world may be bleak but their worldview is bright as they guide themselves through life with each other to depend on.

When the critic receives the author's work, he sends a letter wishing the man luck without reading a single page. The determined author forces the art critic to tell him what he thinks of his manuscript. In the meantime, the writer loses his job, his girlfriend, and falls out of favor with the Communist Party before learning his literary efforts are no good. 　　Czech filmmaker Hynek Bocan largely eschewed the conventions of his country's New Wave cinema in favor of making well-crafted, traditional literary adaptations. A graduate of his native Prague's prestigious FAMU in 1961, Bocan started out working at the Barrandov Film Studio, assisting such filmmakers as Karel Kachyna, Jan Nemec, and Jiri Weiss. In addition to directing, Bocan collaborated on the screenplays of all of his films. He made his directorial debut with Nikdo se Nebude Smat/No Laughing Matter (1965). In 1969, while working on his third film, Pastak/The Decoy, Bocan encountered political differences with his government and was prevented from completing the production; it was not until 1990 that the film was finished and released. Unable to work in features, Bocan turned to television to co-write and direct the nine-episode series Zahada Hlavolau/The Mystery of a Brain Teaser. In 1974, Bocan was allowed to return to filmmaking, and he released Muz z Lonyna/The Man From London. Bocan has subsequently divided his time between feature films and television.

Young black man about town, "Lamont" pushed by the constant surveillance of his everyday life , discovers the real power is off screen. At the same time an actress, Iris refuses to "die" in a casting, which in turn piques the interest of the director. She returns to her east Village apartment she shares with another actress, "Mira" who is desperate for fame whatever the price. Iris retreats in her room, seemingly setting off a trend of people saying no, one of them being Kurt who disappears from the movie being shot outside her house. As Iris searches for something real, in the city and in herself, Lamont sets off a wave where the real nobodies step out and into control.

Art, politics and motorcycles - on the occasion of his 90th birthday John Berger or the Art of Looking is an intimate portrait of the writer and art critic whose ground-breaking work on seeing has shaped our understanding of the concept for over five decades. The film explores how paintings become narratives and stories turn into images, and rarely does anybody demonstrate this as poignantly as Berger. 　　Berger lived and worked for decades in a small mountain village in the French Alps, where the nearness to nature, the world of the peasants and his motorcycle, which for him deals so much with presence, inspired his drawing and writing. 　　The film introduces Berger's art of looking with theatre wizard Simon McBurney, film-director Michael Dibb, visual artist John Christie, cartoonist Selçuk Demiral, photographer Jean Mohr as well as two of his children, film-critic Katya Berger and the painter Yves Berger. 　　The prelude and starting point is Berger's mind-boggling experience of restored vision following a successful cataract removal surgery. There, in the cusp of his clouding eyesight, Berger re-discovers the irredeemable wonder of seeing. 　　Realised as a portrait in works and collaborations, this creative documentary takes a different approach to biography, with John Berger leading in his favourite role of the storyteller.
