孙强和李薇为了将六岁的儿子小宇送进他们心目中的良校，找了入学咨询的郎代办和有经验的学校理事乔爷，帮忙一家三口指点迷津。他们完成层层考核，有望得到入学资格，但在最后一场面试后，却得知小宇被放在不录取名单中。孙强认为此事肯定只是误会、而乔爷和朗代办怀疑是面试过程出了问题、李薇却觉得事有蹊跷。为了让小宇能进入心仪的学校，他们决定一起找出是哪里出了错、又或是谁从中作梗。
