1989年1月29日这天，泰国发生一起轰动全国的灵异事件。一支放映队受邀前往乌障府坎查诺森林放映电影，但在目的地却没看到任何观众。直到深夜，看不清面容的黑影才一个个从森林中走出，站在幕布前，影片结束后他们便凭空消失。这起鬼映事件一时间甚嚣尘上，引起广泛热议。 　　20多年后，身为医生的阿育（Achita Pramoj Na Ayudhya 饰）对鬼映事件非常感兴趣，他相信凡事必有因果，一向被媒体忽视的影片内容也许就是整个事件的关键。在好奇心的驱使下，阿育和吉哥等伙伴开始四处搜集资料，并致力寻找当天放映的影片拷贝。他们逐渐逼近真相，同时也离危险越来越近……
